Ayat-Ayat Cinta was released on February 28, 2008 in Indonesia, May 8, 2008 in Singapore, and June 19, 2008 in Malaysia.

Sex Drive is a 2008 sex comedy film about a high school graduate who goes on a cross-country road trip to hook up with a girl he met online. It is based on the novel All the Way, by Andy Behrens. Pinocchio is a two-episode 2008 Italian-British TV film directed by Alberto Sironi and starring Robbie Kay, Bob Hoskins, Luciana Littizzetto and Alessandro Gassman. The film is based on The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi with Kay portraying Pinocchio. It was shot in Lazio and Tuscany, Italy.

It is based on the Agatha Christie novel 4.50 from Paddington (but with a change of detectives from Miss Marple to Tommy and Tuppence).
